Ron is originally from Florida but has spent the bulk of his life in the Carolinas. He went to Furman University for his undergrad work and Asbury Theological Seminary for his Masters in Divinity. After serving overseas in the United States Army as a Fire Support Officer, he has served as a children and youth pastor, an associate pastor at a large church, and planted a church as the lead pastor.
He is married to Megan, an art teacher in Forsyth County Schools. They have two daughters, McKenna and Molly. Ron loves reading, hiking, camping, biking, whitewater kayaking, and basically anything having to do with the outdoors. He also loves meeting new people and having deep conversations about God, philosophy, and astrophysics (Most of that is true :).
Ron believes that following Jesus gives shape and meaning to every aspect of life. Because of this, he has committed his life to invite others to join him in this journey.
